Biography

Phil Bennett has been composing, producing and performing music for 18 years.  Working out of his studio in the heart of downtown Toronto, Phil has been composing music for film and television for the last 8 years on a range of diverse projects.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Phil is accomplished on the guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboards and drums/ percussion. Most recently, Phil has been scoring for dramatic tv series, dramatic films, animated tv series and commercial ads.

Having performed as a guitar player for the last 18 years, Phil Bennett has shared the stage with acts such as Cypress Hill, Pilate, Hedley, Switchfoot, Tonic, Fefe Dobson, Default, Buckcherry and Bad Company.  Phil has done guitar sessions at studios including CBC, Lydian Sound, The Drum Room and at Cedartree Recording Studio with award-winning music producer J. Rick Hutt.
